TRAINING IN GERMANY - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called Exchange+Education+Empowerment of Youth Leaders” which will take place in 23rd until 30th September 2014 in Potsdam, Germany.

Young People will come together in order to improve quality of Youth Exchanges by sharing experiences, developing their competences, getting inspiration und motivation for future work as youth leaders.

Participants will learn about their role as a Leader, facilitation, communicating, planning non formal education and intercultural learning processes, organizing a project in the youth field within an international team. They will also learn to promote Youth Participation and Active Citizenship as key elements when designing an international project.
The training course seeks to not only improve the qualities of future youth exchanges (in the frame of Erasmus+) but also facilitate cooperation between organisations and their networks.

During this training course we expect to assist in the development competences, knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours through different tools, activities and methods that can be seen in the programme.

This event will bring together 26 participants from Germany, Estonia, Poland, Georgia, Portugal, and Azerbaijan. The event will be held in English. There are 3 vacancies available and participants should have minimum 18 years old.

The Erasmus + Programme will cover 100% of the accommodation, food and activities and will reimburse 100% of the travel costs for the participants (up to 275 euros). There will be a participation fee of 40 Eur. per participant.

TRAINING IN ROMANIA - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS

Noored Ühiskonna Heaks (NYH) is promoting a call for participants for a Training Course called ESD Go On!” which will take place in 20th until 29th August 2014 in Valenii de Munte, Romania.

The change required by the EU for "Sustainable Development" can only come from education, a new type of education that requires new resources. Existing crises in education do not provide the required resources to transform education towards sustainable development.
In the context of global issues reorienting education requires effort from all stakeholders - governments, ministries etc but primarily from those who actually work with youth : youth workers , teachers etc.


The purpose of "ESD Go On" is Increasing awareness of youth workers towards global issues, the impact that they have on their lives and their communities and propose through educational materials it contains, a model for action at individual, community and global levels.


Using non-formal methods , under the guidance of two international trainers, participants will conduct the activities in order achieve the specific objectives:
- development of future oriented-thinking
- development of a responsible behavior towards resources
- development of skills to initiate change
- setting a communication network to contribute in changing mentalities and attitudes in communities


The schedule of the course was designed as to produce a change in the cognitive, emotional and behavioral level of participants. Benefits obtained regarding competences conceptually - certified by Youthpass, provide participants the necessary resources to produce a positive impact in their organizations, at their place of work, in the community.
